Coronado Center

The Coronado Center mall is the largest mall in Albuquerque, out of the three that are currently functioning. It is owned by General Growth Properties and it was built in 1964 but has been renovated several times since then. At present, Coronado Center is a 2-level fully enclosed mall with a total area of retail space measuring 1,500,000 sq. ft. The mall is located in Uptown Albuquerque at the intersection of Louisiana and Menaul boulevards, and it receives almost 12 million people every year.

The Coronado Center mall seems perfect for parents with children, as it boasts a lot of kidís shops and stroller rental. Those who just want to shop can choose from over 150 shops and cervices, with Macy's, JC Penney, Mervyn's and Sears as anchor tenants, most of them open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. The restaurants cover a great diversity and can surely cater for all tastes. There you can find anything from fast-foods to full-service eateries. Although the mall doesnít have a cinema theatre, parking is free (but there are no covered parking lots or valet parking services) and you can surely find a place from the 5,000 available.

Although the Coronado Center mall is very popular and it is considered upscale, people with lower incomes can find outlet shops, too. Among the attractions there is a glass elevator, an interestingly decorated food court. Those who are interested in job opportunities at Coronado center can visit for further information.
