The Coronado Center mall is the largest mall in Albuquerque, out of the three that are currently functioning. It is owned by General Growth Properties and it was built in 1964 but has been renovated several times since then. At present, Coronado Center is a 2-level fully enclosed mall with a total area of retail space measuring 1,500,000 sq. ft. The mall is located in Uptown Albuquerque at the intersection of Louisiana and Menaul boulevards, and it receives almost 12 million people every year.
